SCORE Programme

The SCORE programme is designed to support R&D projects jointly undertaken between Scottish SME’s and public sector research bodies, such as e.g. Higher Education Institutes, Research Institutes and NHS Trusts.  Under this programme, an SME or group of SME’s with a specific technical problem or need can assign a significant part of the required scientific and technological research to a public sector research body.  The grant rate is normally 50% of eligible costs, which are normally up to £70,000.

Applications will be considered for R&D projects relating to most technologies including those that support sustainable economic development, promote greater business efficiency and develop new environmental technologies, products and services.
